Sanitizing & deodorizingWhole-system duct and dryer vent check with before-and-after photos - you see exactly what came out of your vents
That "$99 whole-house special" is a bait ad - the real number appears once they are in your hallway, or the "clean" is a shop-vac at the register. We photograph the inside of your ducts before and after instead.
Meet the Los Angeles Team Behind Kestrel Air Duct Los Angeles
The crew that shows up at your door in Los Angeles isn’t a rotating cast of subcontractors. It’s a small, steady group of technicians who’ve cleaned thousands of duct systems across this city, from prewar bungalows in Highland Park to 1980s condos in Sherman Oaks. What unites them is the Kingswell Way, a written code that’s been in place since 2004: say the price before the work starts, show up in the window we gave, leave the house cleaner than we found it, and put the guarantee in writing. Every person below works under that same standard, and under Dale Whitmore, the owner, they don’t get to cut corners on it.
Styles & brands we work with

Our People
Marcus T., Lead Technician
Marcus has been running duct cleaning jobs in Los Angeles for eleven years, and before that he spent five years in HVAC installation, which means he understands how a duct system is supposed to work before he starts cleaning it. He’s certified in NADCA air systems cleaning standards and runs our Rotobrush rotary brush systems, the equipment that dislodges caked debris from the duct wall rather than just knocking loose dust around. Marcus is the guy who notices that your return vent has a gap pulling attic air into the house, or that your filter housing is the wrong size for the slot. Outside of work he rebuilds vintage Japanese motorcycles, which is why he shows up with a torque wrench in his truck and zero tolerance for sloppy fastening.
Elena R., Senior Installer
Elena joined Kestrel in 2016 after years in commercial building maintenance, where she learned that neglected ductwork is rarely a single problem and usually a stack of them. She’s our lead on negative-pressure extraction setups, the Nikro units that pull loosened particles out of the home while the cleaning is happening, and she’s the one who walks homeowners through the Abatement Technologies HEPA filtration process in plain terms. Elena is methodical about airflow measurements and pressure readings, and she’ll tell you honestly whether your ducts need cleaning now or can wait another year. She grew up in the San Fernando Valley and has a habit of pointing out which neighboring houses on the street share your original floor plan, which comes up more often than you’d expect.
Dana K., Service Coordinator
Dana is the voice on the phone when you call Kestrel Air Duct Los Angeles, and she’s been answering that phone since 2019. Her job is scheduling, but really her job is knowing the whole picture: what each technician’s week looks like, which homes in Los Angeles have tight street parking that changes how we stage equipment, and which customers need a callback about a filter question rather than a sales pitch. Dana keeps the written price quotes organized and makes sure every customer gets their guarantee documentation before the van pulls away. She’s a native Angeleno who can tell you the fastest route from Echo Park to Westchester at 4 p.m. on a Thursday, and she answers calls live, which means you’re talking to Dana, not a menu tree.
Andre B., Apprentice Technician
Andre is two years into his training with us and came to Kestrel from a facilities maintenance background in downtown Los Angeles. He works alongside Marcus and Elena on most jobs, handling the dryer vent cleaning side with a focus on lint trap bypass procedures, which means he cleans the full length of the vent run, not just the easy section behind the dryer. Andre is studying for his NADCA certification and learning the Kingswell Way from the inside: written prices, clean job sites, guarantees that actually get honored. He’s the one who photographs the before-and-after of your ducts while the senior tech walks you through the findings, and he keeps the van organized well enough that Elena once called it the tidiest truck in the fleet.
One Standard, Every Job
The Kingswell Way governs every visit, and it isn’t a slogan on a clipboard. It means the written price is in your hands before a single vent is touched, always, with no exceptions. It means the arrival window we give you is the window we keep. It means drop cloths, shoe covers, and a job site left cleaner than we found it. It means the 365-Day Done Right Promise is documented on paper, and if the work falls short within that year, we return and fix it at no charge. That’s the same standard applied to every Kestrel job since 2004, across the entire Kingswell family of companies. No technician here rewrites the rules at your doorway. The rules were written long before they got there, and Dale Whitmore enforces them on every single job.
